Historic Casco Antiguo, also known as Casco Viejo or the 'old quarter,' is located in Panama City. The district dates back to 1673 and is home to lively plazas and picturesque brick-paved streets surrounded by colorful buildings; it is also recognized as a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site. The neighborhood is wonderful for strolling around, learning about the past, and sampling the many delicious local cuisines.
